Yes, I agree printed proposals are always important. That’s why I built in an easy “PRINT” button at the top of every proposal (it launches the browser’s print dialog).

I’ve also optimized the proposal design for printer-friendly versions… meaning, all of the information is clearly laid out on the page, colors and background images optimized to save ink while ensuring legibility.

This is a really good idea, and is definitely a fresh approach to proposals! At the same time though… I still think some clients might value the feel of a quality printed proposal in their hands.
