My Vote for #themethursday = business

#themethursday sounds like a cracking idea to me (Y)

I’v always thought this kinda of thing was a great idea! having a different day dedicated to certain social sharing activity always seemed overkill tho. However your theme idea is great, like you said it’ll keep things fresh and open to new ideas from other users + thursday is always my most active day on-line, by friday im just watching the clock until the weekend and don’t have time to tweet.

Maybe a small website supporting #themethurday would be useful allowing submission of themes (via twitter), that users can rate up/down, then placing the most popular [unique] as the next theme! Giving it twice as much tweet coverage for theme submissions throughout the week + the actual #themethurday posts themselves. It’ll also help explain the tag use and help prevent people tweeting random themes! (windows 95 themes come to mind!)

Inspired by your new simple and very readable blog + im still working on my own blog design, id like to make my vote for:

#themethursday = wordpress template

If you’d like some help promoting and getting #themethurday running id be please to offer a little of my free time. Keep up the good work grace addicted to your tweets!

Barry great feedback on the idea, i had been thinking of having some type of voting site, something very simple to allow people to vote for the theme so you gave me push to go for it. I just registered a domain and will be setting that up over the next week. I will drop definitely drop you a line about helping out, thanks again!

I think we should theme it for wordpress templates and anything related to starting one up or optimizing it. (Since that’s what I’m working on)

But, next one should be on illustration for the web or print. What do you all think?

Kate branding is an excellent idea. Sam thanks for dropping by and i will be working on the core features of the site this weekend to have it up and running asap.

Hernan WordPress templates is another fab idea, currently WordPress is the leader in terms of votes so you may get your wish for this week! Illustration would be great as a theme, as there are lots of great tutorials and links i can already think of.

Maybe i could write a wordpress plugin that compares all posted links with the #themethursday tag and then compiles all the unique links into a list. This list could then be ordered by popularity by comparing the number of tweets it recieved. would be a great feature for the website and save you a sum time?

I’ll look into it for you when i finally get my blog launched and some freetime over the weekend.
