Most images for web from photoshop should be run through something like png crush, it removes the profile and color correction data from images. It’s one of the advantages fireworks has over photoshop for web based images.

I’ve read about the compression differences in Fireworks (vs Photoshop), but for me I just like having the power of Photoshop at my disposal.
