Five Reasons To Subscribe To This Blog

With so many blogs vying for your attention, why would you want to add another one to your feed reader? Well I aim to convince you that Grace Smith Dot Co Dot Uk deserves a little spot in your feed reader.
In preparation of my 6th Month Blogging Anniversary I figured it would be timely to pitch to any prospective subscribers and give you five reasons to subscribe to my blog. If i can’t convince you to subscribe then email me and i will send you a free hug instead.
- 1. Unique and Varied Content
I’m not just about roundups or lists, i enjoy writing in-depth articles, injecting humor into age old subjects as well as several unique blog series and interviews.
I also recently started guest posting for sites such as Freelance Switch and Tutorial9 (with a post for Smashing Magazine in the works). Why do you care? Well i want to share my knowledge and give back to our brilliant community, but don’t worry I’m not going to run out of ideas for posts anytime soon!
- 2. Practical Information For All Types Of Creative Folks
This blog offers practical and insightful information for web and graphic designers, developers and bloggers. As modern creatives we must keep up with the fast pace of the web. I aim to help make this easier by publishing unique content, fresh news and opinions on the things that matter to us.
- 3. I’m Passionate About the Design Industry and Web Community
This is a not a ‘me, me, me’ blog. I am heavily involved in the web community and love involving many of the super cool people around from the design, development and social media industries. I’m about community, i reply to comments and want to engage in conversations and share experiences and knowledge.
- 4. I’m Not In It For the Big Bucks
I am not blogging for money so you can be assured that I’m not here to make money off you. I only serve two small ads and have just added these recently. You will not find any posts full of affiliate links or anything remotely money related. It’s just about the content, pure and simple.
- 5. You Won’t Be Overloaded With Posts
I don’t post everyday and i have a solid post and content schedule so you won’t get sick of me as I’m a big proponent of quality content over quantity. I have been known to spend week’s over a blog post so for me personally it’s not about getting eyeballs on blog posts as I’m focused on publishing quality helpful information.
- Bonus: There is no risk, you can always unsubscribe and i won’t get mad!
That’s the end of my imperfect but honest pitch. Should you decide to subscribe now, please do so by via this link or by clicking on the subscribe link at the top of the page. You can also leave your name on the comment section below and we can have a little conversation and perhaps even become RSS buddies.

I’d say this is honest AND perfect pitch. I am not into web development but I like when I read good original material like you do.
Furthermore I really like that you just do what you want to do: Say that you want more readers to read your stuff, because you think it’s good and they won´t regret it. Not pretending to be too humble to do that.
As for me, I subscribed to this blog (1/1156 rss feeds) but it’s fresh to me and I like it. Following you on Twitter for a few months. Excellent way to get the latest postings.
Take care,
